Trail companion (not a blood relative)

Peter Sinclair

The neighbor from Graemsay

A fellow convert from the same tiny island as the Johnstons. He sailed the Atlantic, walked a thousand miles, and shared a tent with the family. His September 1, 1854 journal entry placing the 'four Johnstons together' is why we know so much about Hugh Johnston's final weeks.

Notes from the family

Remember something about Peter? A story, a photo, a correction, a date? Even a messy note helps. Just open the plain-text file research-notes/peter-sinclair-notes.md and type it in — or tell Scott (or Claude Code) “add this to Peter’s page,” and it will be woven in properly, with the source recorded.
